Governor Lujan Grisham vetoed a $600 million budget allocation passed by the legislature to replenish the state UI (unemployment Insurance) fund. Without this money, UI taxes will skyrocket for NM employers. This is wrong and will hurt struggling businesses even further. We have the money, let's use it to help save jobs!
