Under House Bill 398, the entire pistol purchase permit section of law would be repealed, and a North Carolinian will finally be able to purchase a handgun without first get the state’s permission. Under House Bill 197, law-abiding citizens of North Carolina would be able to carry a concealed handgun without first obtaining the government’s permission. Twenty other states recognize Americans have the right to conceal carry without a permit, and they are among the safest in the country. Under House Bill 189, federal unconstitutional gun control laws would be nullified, and state and local officials would be ordered to NOT enforce them. This is especially important at a time when the Biden administration is actively trying to restrict our right to bear arms.
