Under House Bill 398, the entire pistol purchase permit section of law would be repealed, and a North Carolinian will finally be able to purchase a handgun without first getting the state’s permission. It is well past time North Carolina repeals this archaic, redundant, Jim Crow era law. So please vote to restore the basic rights of all citizens to practice their Second Amendment.
