OPPOSE the Handgun Licensing and Registration Act of 2021 (H.R. 3740 )
As a constituent and supporter of the Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) I urge you to OPPOSE H.R. 3740.
It is clear that this bill would create a draconian and unconstitutional handgun licensing and registration scheme at the federal level. Legislation such as this is patently absurd. It is an attack on working-class Americans and their fundamental rights.
Any registration and licensing scheme advantages the wealthy and powerful who have the luxury of time and disposable income to comply with such Byzantine bureaucracy. Any barrier to exercising a fundamental, Constitutional right is an oppressive measure that must be opposed.
Again, as your constituent, I urge you to OPPOSE H.R. 3740, or any other firearms licensing or registration bills.
