Secure our border
We need action to protect our southern border!
President Biden’s open-borders approach has caused illegal border crossings to reach their highest point in this century after President Trump had successfully brought them down.
Furthermore, tens of thousands of those who were caught crossing the border have been released into the United States without even giving them a date to appear in court.
Biden has stopped building the wall, which provides vital assistance to the Border Patrol.
If President Biden lacks the courage to stand up to the open borders extremists, then Congress must act.
Congress should pass funding for the wall, write Trump’s effective border-closing measures into law, and prohibit Federal employees from engaging in “catch-and-release”.
I am counting on you to join in a bipartisan effort to shut off the massive flow of illegal aliens across our border.
I look forward to your response on this vital matter.
No Amnesty
I am outraged that President Biden wants to give amnesty and citizenship to the millions of illegal aliens in this country.
Those who deliberately break the law must be punished. Instead, Biden says he will reward them for their crimes.
Amnesty would encourage millions more to flood into the United States, knowing that some future liberal president will demand another amnesty for them.
These illegal aliens steal jobs from American citizens and legal immigrants, making our poverty problem worse.
They consume vast amounts of taxpayer dollars through various government programs.
They make up a greatly disproportionate number of the people in prison, proving that they contribute significantly to the crime rate.
Instead of amnesty, the Federal government should increase the number of deportations. Congress should appropriate funds to make this possible.
As a member of Congress, you have a responsibility to address this problem.
I look forward to your response, telling what you are doing about it.
Congress must do something about the illegal alien crisis
President Trump made steady progress against the flood of illegal aliens, but President Biden has thrown that into reverse.
Because Biden abandoned Trump’s policies, we are now plagued with the highest number of illegal border crossings in this century.
These criminals who sneak into our country are stealing American jobs, spreading COVID, and adding to the already rising crime rate.
And President Biden wants to go even farther, rewarding them amnesty and citizenship! He also wants to give millions of dollars of foreign aid to corrupt Central American governments, believing that will somehow make people stay at home instead of showing up at our border.
Congress must end this farce.
The successful policies of President Trump should be enacted into law and passed over Biden’s veto if necessary.
Amnesty should be rejected.
Foreign aid should be reduced, not increased.
The President refuses to show leadership. Congress must lead.
I await your response, to see if you will pledge to be one of these leaders.
Sanctuary Cities
It is hard to believe that the Federal government is giving money to cities and states that openly encourage people to violate Federal law, and then give those people protection from arrest and prosecution.
The existence of sanctuary cities and states, giving privileged treatment to illegal aliens, is a blot on our nation. Congress must do everything it can to bring this to an end.
With President Biden, under the thumb of open borders extremists, having refused to continue the Trump policy of withholding federal funds from these cities and states, Congress must act on its own to cut off funding.
In fact, Congress should cut off even more Federal funds than President Trump was able to do using only his executive authority.
Let’s see how these cities and states feel about illegal aliens when the gusher of money from Washington stops flowing.
Sen. John Kennedy and Rep. Glenn Grothman have introduced the Ending Sanctuary Cities act of 2021 (S. 875 and H3195). You should cosponsor this bill if you have not yet done so, and do all you can to pass it into law.
I await your response, to let me know if you support this bill.
