They spend money that we don’t have on projects that we don’t need—all while leaving our crumbling roads and bridges to suffer. I do not want Congress to spend my tax dollars on the Green New Deal, amnesty for people who are present in the country illegally, or pay-offs for public school unions. The gargantuan amounts of taxpayer dollars proposed in these bills threaten to drive up inflation, which is already at a 13-year high.
