Oppose Inslee's Mandatory Vaccination Proclamation
I am writing as a concerned Washingtonian, opposing Governor Inslee’s Mandatory Vaccine Proclamation. The Legislature must call a special session to address this issue, as this proclamation gives state employees and healthcare workers a deadline of October 18th to be fully vaccinated.
The decision to decline a vaccination must remain a private, individual choice. We are free citizens of this country and state, we must maintain the ability to retain employment without discrimination. Requiring proof of vaccination would take away individual freedoms. We need you to help protect these fundamental rights.
Washingtonians deserve medical freedom and bodily autonomy. The legislature must call a special session to address this discriminatory proclamation. Please help state employees you represent by calling for a special session and opposing the Governor’s proclamation.
Special Session needed to stop Inslee's Proclamation
I am writing as a concerned citizen of Washington to ask that you vote to hold a special session and promptly oppose Governor Inslee’s mandatory proclamation requiring the COVID vaccine for state employees and healthcare workers.
The new COVID vaccines have been out for a short time and only authorized for use under the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). There are still so many unknowns about possible long-term effects, even if they are approved this year; as well as what pre-existing conditions or genetic factors may negatively impact someone’s response to an injection.
The VAERS database (the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System), has already logged reported adverse events including death, anaphylaxis, neurological disorders, as well as miscarriage, and stillbirth from all three COVID vaccinations currently being used.
Not only would vaccination requirements force many to take an enormous risk with unknown consequences, but the denial of bodily autonomy is also a violation of one’s fundamental human rights. No one should be put in the position where they could lose their employment because they are medically unable or choose to refrain from getting vaccinated.
Thank you for your time and I urge you to protect our constitutional freedom by voting for a special session so the Legislature can tackle this unethical proclamation and protect the rights of so many Washington workers.
