Californians are already leaving! Please oppose AB1102
Our state has just lost a congressional seat from the heavy surge of citizens and businesses leaving this once great state. Further regulation, cost, and challenges for businesses to stay here will in no way help our citizens or our state.
Please oppose AB1102 publicly and allow us to thank you for an important stance condemning dangerous segregation and autocracy.
Authorized Vaccines?
Dear Representative,
I am writing to you in regards to the loose language in this bill. I ask that you please oppose this bill for many reasons, but mainly, because this bill places too high a risk of legislators and government having the authority to mandate medicine of any kind.
AB1102 discusses giving employers the ability to mandate "Authorized vaccines," which would mean, these vaccines would not need to be approved only authorized. This is a great concern of mine and every legislator should be worried about the precedent they are setting for future outbreaks and diseases when we give too much statutory power to the government over our medical decisions.
I ask that you please OPPOSE AB1102.
Vaccine Verification Language in AB1102
Dear Representatives,
I find it highly concerning that this piece of legislation specifically names a sole proprietorship in one of it's acceptable methods of vaccine verification. It's explicit naming of "Smart Reader App" is major cause for concern that this legislature can be bought, and often is. Why we would be writing into statutory law that our state works with any one individual company is extremely alarming and calls into question the integrity and real intentions behind this bill.
I urge you to OPPOSE AB1102.
Consider what all this will affect! Please oppose AB1102
I’m writing to share my concerns regarding AB 1102. A specific concern I have is how school internship programs will be severely handicapped with this bill. These programs are a part of CTE and bring in a large amount of funding, they are also required for the dashboard which affects kids.
Please publicly oppose AB1102 so the many businesses, employees, students, and their concerned parents can also publicly thank you for your stance against such a decree.
Segregation is dangerous! Please oppose AB1102!
Making private medical information a condition of employment is segregation. In a state that just decriminalized knowingly infecting someone with HIV because there may be a stigma associated with prosecution, we now are considering legalizing stigma, segregation, and limiting employment for healthy people.
Our state will be moving backward with this plan which should not be supported in any way!
Please oppose AB1102 publicly so the citizens can also publicly thank you for your stance against such a decree.
Autocracy on our small businesses is dangerous! Please oppose this bill!
A mandate like this that falls on a business' shoulders will be too much to bear in these trying times. Businesses are already trying to catch up from a horrific year, and now they are will potentially have to further weigh the high cost of keeping an employee or not being able to run their business without that employee. With the current shortage of workers, how can they even afford that consideration? The option of testing as an alternative is costly, from the cost of testing to time away from work.
Business owners are hurt with all scenarios with this bill. Please oppose AB1102 publicly and allow us to thank you for an important stance condemning dangerous autocracy on our small businesses
