Critical Race Theory Undermines American Values
Critical race theory is unamerican and teaches the opposite of the American dream and values. It should not be taught in our schools or disguised as some sort of “diversity training” for government employees.
Americans want our nation to be colorblind, but Critical Race Theory teaches that we must treat people differently according to race.
Americans are proud of the fact that slavery and segregation have been abolished, and that many blacks are now middle or upper class, but Critical Race Theory claims that things are as bad as they ever were.
Americans value the free market economy, but Critical Race Theory labels it as a tool for white supremacy that must be eliminated.
I am counting on you to watch closely to be sure that Critical Race Theory, under whatever name, is not guiding our state government and not taught in our schools.
Furthermore, you should not vote to approve the appointment of anyone who is not willing to publicly speak out in opposition to Critical Race Theory.
I hope to hear back from you that we are in agreement on this.
Critical Race Theory Is an Attack on Equality and Colorblindness
Our country has spent many years working to provide equality for people of all races.
We want everyone to be colorblind, judging each other by the content of our character rather than the color of our skin.
But now, Critical Race Theory is demanding that we return to the days when skin color was all-important. They insist that government programs should show preference for some races over others.
President Biden even tried to put in place an unconstitutional program that would have provided aid for black farmers, but not whites.
Our state must not travel down that racist path. Equality should be our guiding principle.
I am counting on you to keep Critical Race Theory out of our government.
Government programs should not be designed to help one race more than another. Our schools should teach the importance of racial equality, not racial conflict.
I hope you agree with me. Please let me know where you stand on this vital issue.
Critical Race Theory Says Black Success Is Impossible
A new form of racism, called Critical Race Theory, is falsely telling blacks that they cannot succeed in America.
This teaching is especially dangerous when it shows up in our schools. It leaves students thinking that their own efforts are worthless. Instead of studying and learning, they must wait for the government to step in and take care of them with reparations and other handouts.
Most adult Americans, of all races, know that this is not true. Blacks have established a firm presence in the middle class, and many have become wealthy through their own hard work.
We have had a black president, a black vice president, and many other black elected officials, not to mention blacks holding high positions in business and nonprofit organizations.
A good education, hard work, healthy living and associating with the right people are still the path to success. Waiting for government to take care of you is a guarantee of poverty.
Do not allow our schools to teach such nonsense!
I hope I can count on you, and I look forward to your reply.
Critical Race Theory Lies About American History
The United States has a proud history of accomplishments, and one of them is being the home of the world’s first anti-slavery movement, as well as inspiring the growth of similar movements elsewhere in the world.
Furthermore, we went on to outlaw racial segregation, giving opportunities to people of all races.
Now we face a set of liars who claim that America declared independence to protect slavery and that white supremacy is and always has been the foundation of American law and society.
Through the 1619 Project and other false writings, they hope to put these lies into our schools and permeate our culture.
We must protect our children against such brainwashing. They need to be taught how far this nation has come in moving toward full equality and racial justice, and that we can continue to make progress.
There should be no place in our state’s schools for the falsehoods of the 1619 Project and similar teachings.
I certainly hope that you agree with me, and will take action to protect our children. I look forward to hearing from you.
Critical Race Theory Undermines Public Safety
The claims of Critical Race Theory, if believed and put into law, would put everyone, of whatever race, in danger by undermining our police and legal system.
They claim that the police must be abolished or defunded because of what they describe as the “terror being perpetrated by gangs of policemen across the nation”. They say that police have replaced lynch mobs. They have even criticized police for responding with force after being fired at.
They claim that the disproportionate number of blacks in prison has nothing to do with the crimes they have committed, but is merely a way of keeping blacks down.
We have already seen the results of the racist demonizing of the police. Violent crime, especially murder, is on the rise, reversing the long decline we enjoyed during the period of “mass incarceration” of criminals. Cities that cut back the size of their police force are now taking measures to hire more police.
Our state must not give in to critical race theory. Support our police and insist that criminals be arrested and prosecuted.
Do you agree with me? I look forward to hearing your response.
