As a member of the majority leadership team in the Senate, I’m urging you to support SB215 and bring it up for a vote on the Senate floor as soon as possible! Gun owners in Ohio like me have waited long enough for our firearm freedoms to be restored and government to get out of the business of regulating our rights. For the first time in history, a chamber in the Ohio General Assembly passed Constitutional Carry (HB227) legislation just a few weeks ago, and now that the Senate Veterans and Public Safety committee passed it, it's time for the full Senate to vote on Constitutional Carry! This year alone, Constitutional Carry has passed and become law in FIVE states and has passed legislatures in other states like our neighbor Pennsylvania. The people of Ohio deserve a full vote on this legislation in the Ohio Senate, but it isn't going to get there if you and your colleagues don't fight for it and insist that it be brought up for a vote. That's why I'm demanding that you listen to the voters who elected your caucus into power and DO YOUR JOB! Besides, your voters need a reason to support your campaign (and the campaigns of your colleagues) in future elections. Gun owners have consistently delivered big wins for the legislative majorities in Columbus, and now it is time for you to deliver a big win for gun owners. Therefore, I urge you to immediately do everything you can to be a leader in your chamber, LEAD on gun rights, and bring Constitutional Carry (SB215) up for a vote in the Senate chamber as soon as possible! Ohio Gun Owners will keep me informed on the status of this legislation throughout the session as well as your actions or inactions.

I know that you are under tremendous pressure to bottle up Constitutional Carry legislation, and not put it on the Senate calendar. But I am writing you, as a gun voter and patriotic American, encouraging you to do the right thing and put Constitutional Carry on the Senate floor and run it! The Radical Left would love nothing more than for you to do nothing, waste as much time as possible, and burn out the clock. But the reality of the situation is this: Governor DeWine is more likely to sign Constitutional Carry before next year's primary election - that is no secret. That's why I'm insisting that you vote out SB215 ASAP and get it over to the House, because time is not on our side! We the People want our gun rights restored, and we are not going to rest until the bill gets passed and signed into law. I will be informed on how your chamber acts on gun rights going into next year's elections.

Please do the right thing and put SB215 on the Senate floor for a vote before Christmas! All of the hard work has been done, and the votes are there to pass the bill. All that's needed now is for you to put the bill on the calendar and run it on the floor! Don't be fooled by the Radical Left and the moderates in your caucus, gun voters like me are the majority opinion in our state, are behind this bill 100% and want to see it through. Don't give in to the Left's demands by sinking the bill or just doing nothing. Our Constitutional rights and liberties require action on your part! We have delivered countless majorities for your caucus, please help return the favor by passing this major pro-gun reform in SB215. Thank you!
