Unintended Consequences of HB0946 and Hb2032
I am contacting you in regards to bills HB0946 and HB2032, If these bills were to pass there are unintended consequences, such as children being put in positions to make potentially life altering healthcare decisions without the guidance or knowledge of their parents. I would like to know what actions you will take to ensure these consequences do not cause further erosion of parent rights when it comes to healthcare decisions for our children.
Oppose Bills HB0946 and HB2032

Concerns about upcoming legislation
As a parent I am deeply concerned about the language of both HB0946 and HB2032, both of which put our children at risk. I am especially concerned about the rights given to dentists to administer the HPV vaccine. I cannot think of a single scenario in which it would be appropriate for a dentist to administer an HPV vaccine to my child. Any and all medical decisions about my child should be between myself, and my child’s physician.
Please Oppose HB0946 and HB2032.
Liability Issues
I have taken some time to read over bills HB2032 and HB0946 and had some questions I hope that you can answer or ask when this bill reaches the floor for discussion….
Questions:
Who will be held liable for medical expenses if my child is pressured into receiving an HPV or Hep B vaccine, without my guidance or knowledge, and suffers an adverse reaction?
Why would dentist, who do not know the fully medical history of my child, need to be administering vaccines for sexually transmitted diseases?
Why are parents being separated from medical decisions involving our children?
Thank you for considering these important questions before voting.
