Please sign SB681 into law!
Your support and signing of SB681, a bill transforming the way we address mental health and substance use disorders in our public school system, is an important step towards bettering access for students to behavioral health services in Missouri.
SB681 provides the following benefits to Missouri students:
1. Mental health education in high school.
2. 988 printed on student ID cards.
3. Creation of 4 pilot recovery high schools.
I hope you will provide additional support to fund more access and treatment for young people in Missouri that are living with mental health and substance use disorders.
Thank you for helping to address the mental health and substance use crisis Missouri is facing.
SB681 needs your signature
Please sign Bill 681 into law, it will impact so many young people in this state and make it a healthier and safer place for our youth to grow and develop.
This bill will provide much-needed mental health education in high school and teach students about the subject. Too many young people fall victim to mental health issues and never even know it. As a concerned Missourian, I think we deserve better for the youngest people in our state.
Please sign this bill, Governor Parson.
Sign Bill 681 Governor Parsons
I am a resident of Missouri and believe your signing of SB681 will help solve our mental health crisis in young adults and create a safe place for them in public schools.
The provisions of this bill will be highly impactful on the students and young people in this state. This bill will print the 988 number on student IDs and give them a number to call if they need it.
Please help support Missourians and make this state a better place for our young adults and students. We are counting on you.
SB681 Needs your Attention
Please sign SB681 into law. This bill has many provisions that will help put young Missourians in a better place. Our students need your help in making the schools they attend more supportive of their mental health needs. According to a 2019 CDC study, one in three students struggle with "persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness" and that was before the pandemic and economic decline. Please help our students, they need it so badly. We need to educate, prevent, and treat, three things this bill addresses in some way.
Please support us. Thankyou.
Governor Parsons please sign Bill 681!
Hi Governor Parsons,
I am writing to you as a concerned Missourian. I believe we are undergoing a mental health crisis in our young population due to multiple factors. I believe you signing SB681 into law is a great step in the right direction in figuring our way out of this crisis.
I believe this bill will help transform our public school into a safe place for people to be comfortable and learn all about mental health. I want every student in this state to have an equal and sufficient ability to seek mental health support and I believe your signing of this bill is the best way to get there.
Thank you,
A fellow Missourian
