Vote no on Dettelbach
As your constituent, I urge you to VOTE NO on the confirmation of Steve Dettelbach as the next director of the ATF.
The ATF cannot be led by someone who spreads disinformation about guns, tramples upon the rights of honest gun owners, and misunderstands the purpose of the Second Amendment.
Dettelbach also recognizes the inefficacy of universal background checks (yet still supports them) and has falsely claimed that background checks would not lead to a gun registry when they, in fact, already have.
Lastly, Dettelbach wrongly believes that the Second Amendment is only about target practice and hunting, when it’s actually an absolute right to self-defense that “shall not be infringed.”
Biden was forced to withdraw his last nominee to run the ATF, David Chipman, following immense grassroots backlash from voters like me.
I assure you that we’re just as fired up to stop Dettelbach’s confirmation.
With the midterm elections coming up, now is not the time to betray your gun-owning constituents.
That’s why you must VOTE NO on the confirmation of Biden’s nominee for ATF director, Steve Dettelbach.
A vote for Dettelbach is a vote against the Second Amendment
