Christian hospitals should not be forced to take lives
It is unconscionable for Fiona Patten MP to introduce a bill that would force Victorian hospitals, some providing expert and compassionate healthcare for over 90 years, to align with her own personal beliefs on abortion and euthanasia.
Nobody should be forced to participate in a medical procedure to end the life of another human being. I urge you and your party to vote against this shocking bill.
Patten’s bill disregards freedom of conscience and belief
I am writing to ask you to reject Fiona Patten’s bill, which threatens the continuance of Medicare funding for hospitals unless they conform to her own personal beliefs on abortion and euthanasia.
This move demeans Victorians’ beliefs and disregards their basic human right to conscientious objection. Please respect our medical providers by voting against this bill.
Please defend faith-based hospitals!
It is inappropriate for Fiona Patten MP to impose her own worldview on faith-based hospitals that are dedicated to serving others.
Please vote no to her health legislation bill which would force Christian hospitals to end the lives of innocent human beings.
