Free speech and women's futures are under attack! Oppose changes to Title IX!
It's outrageous that the Biden administration continues to attack free speech!
The latest threat to our First Amendment rights takes the form of new language proposals for Title IX.
Title IX was instituted by law in 1972 to prevent sex-based discrimination and ensure women have equal opportunities, most notably in the arena of sports. The word "sex" was used simply to indicate those of the female or male gender.
These new language proposals twist the definition of sex to mean most anything. As a result, students on school campuses would essentially be criminalized for opposing, challenging, or simply commenting on the newly-twisted definition of the word "sex," thus abridging free speech.
If words can mean anything, they mean nothing. The language changes to Title IX promote ideologies and agendas that run contrary to the original intent of the legislation.
That is a scam.
Given that reality, I unalterably oppose these proposals.
You have a responsibility to stop this. Please do it now!
Stop changes to definition of women in title IX language!
The whole point of Title IX was to give women the opportunity to compete fairly in sports, education, and the workplace. The proposal to change the definition of sex and gender in Title IX language is an assault on women.
If words can mean anything, they mean nothing. The language changes to Title IX promote ideologies and agendas that run contrary to the original intent of the legislation.
Please support women and free speech and speak out against these changes.
Thank you for your time.
