Vote YES on H.R. 6945
As your constituent and a member of Gun Owners of America, I urge you to cosponsor H.R. 6945 – a bill that has been introduced in the House to STOP the ATF’s unconstitutional gun registry.
As we all know, a federal gun registry is PROHIBITED by law.
But Joe Biden’s executive order turns the ATF’s current billion-record registry into a complete national gun registry which will eventually contain every single firearm sold.
The federal government has NO RIGHT to keep a detailed record on gun owners like myself.
With governors now proposing social media background checks to determine who is legally allowed to carry a gun, it’s not difficult to see how such a gun registry could easily be abused.
Gun Owners of America has put together a report on this illegal new registry, which I encourage you to read on the GOA website.
After you finish reading, I urge you to cosponsor H.R. 6945 to put an end to this illegal registry.
A federal gun registry is ILLEGAL

Why hasn’t the Senate taken action?
As your constituent and a member of Gun Owners of America, I want to know why the Senate has NOT YET introduced a bill to stop the ATF’s unconstitutional federal registry that just went into effect.
H.R. 6945 has been introduced in the House of Representatives to accomplish exactly that.
So, I am deeply concerned that the Senate has failed to introduce a similar bill.
I encourage YOU to be the Senator who steps up and introduces a Senate companion bill to H.R. 6945.
A sizeable number of Americans are hungry for leadership in this area. A July poll of more than 22,000 gun owners found that 68% consider themselves single-issue voters when it comes to gun rights. Truly, voters who cherish our 2A-protected rights are up for grabs.
Consider how Senate Republicans assumed that supporting the June gun control bill would help their party politically. But soon afterward, we have learned that Republican candidates -- after leading in the generic congressional ballot for over half a year, according to the FiveThirtyEight polling firm -- are now actually behind. Support for gun control was absolutely no help politically!

The House has taken action. What’s taking the Senate so long?
