Please stop Bill C-11
Dear Senator,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing you to ask you to stop Bill C-11, the most sweeping censorship law in the Western World.
Canadians opt to consume streaming content like YouTube, Netflix, and Disney Plus, as well as social media content from platforms like Facebook, Twitter and TikTok, because they want to be able to choose their media freely without interference. Canadians can make their own minds up about what they want to see without the paternalism or censorship of the government forcing services to downrank or boost content based on the taste of a CRTC bureaucrat and the politicians in power. Canadians deserve better than being forced into internet controls similar to those seen in some of the more draconian countries, like Cuba, Iran and Russia.
Thank you for your time.
I'm urging you to stop Bill C-11
