As a constituent and a 2A supporter, I demand that you amend HB543 and SB150 to legalize open carry either in committee or on the floor of your chamber, and then pass it out immediately! You know these bills aren't real constitutional carry - you aren't fooling anyone. I know it. You know it. Everyone knows it. Don't you dare make excuses for why we need to keep Janet Reno's gun control agenda on the books here in Florida. Because that won't fly with me. Considering the size of your majority and with Ron DeSantis as our Governor, passing a weak Constitutional Carry bill and keeping open carry a felony offense is wholly unacceptable! Not to mention, politicians in Tallahassee have treated gun owners like me very unfairly in recent years, taking steps toward gun tyranny, instead. It's time to go on OFFENSE and take our freedoms back! Especially now that Governor DeSantis is calling for this legislation! There is no excuse as to why a full-orbed Constitutional Carry bill cannot pass, so please take public action by amending HB543 and SB150 on the floor of your chamber or in committee! Florida Gun Owners will keep me updated on your actions (or lack of action) on this legislation and all bills that affect our gun rights.

SB150 and HB543 are not real Constitutional Carry bills. I know it. You know it. Everyone knows it. Don't make Florida out to be the laughing stock of the gun rights community. Do you job and amend HB543 and SB150 to legalize open carry IMMEDIATELY! I don't want to hear your excuses. I don't want to hear the excuses from the Speaker or the Senate President. I want you to do the job you were elected to do! Florida Gun Owners will keep me, and every gun owners on their list updated on your votes and actions regarding my gun rights, including whether or not you sponsor and/or vote for an amendment to legalize open carry.
