ACTION REQUESTED: Urge Governor Newsom to Veto Senate Bill 799

Yesterday, the Senate passed Senate Bill 799 (Portantino). Now, the bill heads to the Governor’s desk. This bill would allow striking workers to claim unemployment after two weeks of striking, even if the workers or the labor strikes had nothing to do with the employer. The Chamber needs your help to tell Gov. Newsom to veto this concerning bill.
