ATF Rule 2022R–17 is a catastrophe for gun owners. It could require anyone who earns a profit from selling even just a single firearm to obtain a Federal Firearm License and perform a background registration check. That would virtually outlaw private firearm sales and give the ATF yet another weapon to use against law-abiding gun owners like me. Not to mention it would ensure the ATF – which has already illegally compiled a gun registry – has access to the transaction records of nearly every firearm sale in America.
