I urge you to oppose all U.S. foreign aid, regardless of the country, including Israel and Ukraine. Foreign aid is unconstitutional. It's not one of the enumerated powers delegated to Congress under Article I, Section 8, of the U.S. Constitution. The federal government's powers are "few and defined," as James Madison wrote in The Federalist, No. 45, and it cannot lawfully take any action not expressly authorized in the Constitution -- including doling out foreign aid, regardless of the country it's being given to. Many times in U.S. history, our foreign aid has been used for unintended, destructive purposes. For example, our foreign aid to the Soviet Union under the Lend-Lease Act during World War II contributed to the USSR's development of nuclear weapons; and U.S. support for the Afghan mujahideen and opposition forces in Syria, Iraq, and Libya directly benefited radical Islamic terrorist movements. In fact, U.S. foreign aid may even have funded Hamas' war effort. Please follow the U.S. Constitution, and support genuine American national interests, by opposing all foreign aid, including to Israel, Ukraine, and other countries.

I implore you to oppose all foreign aid that our country doles out -- regardless of the country. It is unconstitutional for our government to hand out foreign aid. Article I, Section 8, of the U.S. Constitution clearly enumerates the powers that Congress has, and providing foreign aid is NOT one of them. Founding Father James Madison wrote in Federalist No. 45 that the federal government's powers are "few and defined." It's simply unconstitutional and unlawful for Congress to appropriate foreign aid. Furthermore, foreign aid goes against U.S. national interests. Our funding of the mujahideen directly led to Al-Qaeda, and our foreign aid during the Arab Spring directly led to the expansion of radical Islamic groups such as ISIS. Any foreign aid can lead to blowback -- the unforeseen, damaging long-term consequences of interventionism and foreign aid. Please follow the U.S. Constitution, and put our national interests first -- accordingly, oppose all foreign aid.

As per Article I, Section 8, Congress's powers are specifically delineated and do not include the provision of foreign aid. For example, we helped the USSR acquire nuclear weapons through our Lend-Lease program during World War II, and our meddling in the Middle East has repeatedly, unintentionally enabled radical Islamic groups such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS. Our foreign aid hurts the recipients just as much as our own country. For example, it makes other countries dependent on us. I urge you to abolish all foreign aid, and to instead focus on solving the many problems in our own country. We give hundreds of billions of dollars in aid to foreign countries, including Israel, Ukraine, and many others. Meanwhile, our southern border is wide open, our economy is weak, and we have other problems with energy, etc. Why are we focusing on foreign countries while ignoring the latter problems? Furthermore, foreign aid isn't even constitutional. Article I, Section 8, doesn't authorize Congress to dole out foreign aid. Our government has strayed far from the Constitution, and we must return to adherence. Please abolish all foreign aid, and follow the Constitution, and let's focus on our own country's domestic priorities.
