I urge you to divest all state funds from BlackRock and other corporations that promote damaging ideas such as ESG and DEI. BlackRock is one of the largest investment firms in the world, with up to $10 trillion under its management, and it pushes divisive ideas such as DEI onto companies. These concepts get rid of the merit-based systems that companies should use in favor of an ideological hiring system. Over and over, we are seeing failures produced by ESG ideas forced upon us by BlackRock. This will create problems that hurt many people, and it's in our interest to prevent that. We also don’t want any entity to have such massive control over Americans. Please completely divest from BlackRock, along with every other corporation promoting ideas such as DEI and ESG.

Please divest from BlackRock and other organizations that promote ideas antithetical to American values. BlackRock is one of the leading promoters of DEI, a concept rooted in Marxist ideology. BlackRock uses its massive financial heft (>$10 trillion under its management) to bully companies into implementing DEI. The concepts in DEI prioritize loyalty to the current regime over individual ability and belong nowhere in America. Our Republic cannot survive if its citizens must comply with a China-affiliated company pushing ideologies at odds with American values. Stop giving any state funding to BlackRock or affiliated companies, as these funds are used to harm our entire nation.

Corporations that go against BlackRock are often on the receiving end of blowback from BlackRock, and so feel compelled to follow its ludicrous standards. Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) is often pushed by BlackRock and has been used to coerce corporations into adopting policies at odds with American values. BlackRock uses its relationships with groups such as the Federal Reserve to force companies into this, even if it will hurt their bottom line. This is dangerous, not only because of the coercion of public companies, but because those companies might adopt "social credit scores" on their consumers (this would help make their own climate disclosures look better). Please stop funding groups such as BlackRock, that only serve to hurt people in our great state. Look into entirely divesting from such groups.

The Federal Reserve System, which BlackRock has a strong hand in, gives it significant power to control finances in the United States. The best thing our state can do to combat this beast is to entirely cut off any funds we give them -- along with other organizations and corporations that promote ideas compatible with Marxism. If we do this, we will better be able to right the ship, and stop government and private interests from interfering with the American people. Stop supporting and investing state funds companies that endorse DEI, such as BlackRock. Please act -- now.
