Please Vote Yes for Constitutional Carry!
As a citizen of Louisiana and a supporter of Gun Owners of America, I urge you to support Constitutional Carry Bill SB 1 in its current form.
The right to keep and bear arms is a God-given, fundamental right enumerated in both the United States Constitution and the Louisiana Constitution. As such, it is unacceptable that law-abiding citizens, like myself, are forced to ask permission from the government to exercise their Second Amendment right to defend themselves, their families, and their communities.
Under SB 1, an 18-year-old law-abiding person will be able to conceal carry a handgun without having to first ask the government for a permit, further restoring the constitutionally protected rights of the people to keep and bear arms.
As such, I ask that you please vote in favor of SB 1 in its current form and without amendment.

Vote Yes on SB2!
As a citizen of Louisiana and a supporter of Gun Owners of America, I urge you to support SB 2, which limits civil liability against individuals with a Louisiana concealed handgun permit who are forced to use their handgun in self-defense.
The right to keep and bear arms in defense of life is a God-given, fundamental right enumerated in both the United States Constitution and the Louisiana Constitution. As such, it is unacceptable that citizens, like myself, may be subject to civil liability for lawfully exercising their right to defend themselves, their families, or their communities.
In conjunction with Constitutional Carry Bill SB 1 currently in the Administration of Criminal Justice committee, SB 2 is an important step in fully restoring the Second Amendment-protected right of self-defense. That is why I am asking all of the members of this committee to support SB 2.
