The data on preventing gun violence and suicides with waiting periods is dubious at best. The Second Amendment is a God given right, and no one should be deprived or delayed of their rights. Waiting period laws are gateway for more malicious gun control bills to proceed through the legislature. I kindly ask that you VETO this bill and uphold my Second Amendment rights in Maine.
