Vote NO and HB 335 and HB 2206
As your constituent and a proud supporter of Gun Owners of America, I ask that you oppose HB 335 and HB 2206. ANY legislation that restricts my right to own firearms, firearm accessories, or creates a registry to track my ownership must be struck down.
HB 335 would reclassify bump stocks and binary triggers as "offensive weapons." This bill is nothing more than a scare tactic to outlaw accessories commonly owned by thousands of law-abiding gun owners in Pennsylvania. Moreover, this bill would make current owners of binary triggers or bump stocks criminals overnight.
HB 2206 will set up all the conditions necessary for the Pennsylvania State Police to enhance their so-called "Record of Sale" system which is nothing more than a backdoor gun registry.
Gun owners across Pennsylvania are not being fooled by the rhetoric claiming that the PSP "Firearm Application/Record of Sale" form (SP4-113) is not a registry. We know better. And HB 2206 would allow the efficient collection of any additional data the government would decide to ask for at the point of sale.
I urge you to VOTE NO on HB 335 and HB 2206 to defend the entire scope of my Second Amendment rights.
Don't violate my constitutional rights - OPPOSE HB 335 and HB 2206
As a concerned constituent and avid supporter of Gun Owners of America, I urge you to stand against HB 335 and HB 2206. Any legislation that threatens my Second Amendment rights by imposing restrictions on firearms, accessories, or creating a potential gun registry must be opposed.
HB 335 seeks to categorize bump stocks and binary triggers as "offensive weapons," unfairly penalizing law-abiding gun owners for possessing commonly used accessories. This bill would unjustly criminalize individuals who own these accessories, impacting countless responsible gun owners in Pennsylvania.
Furthermore, HB 2206 paves the way for the Pennsylvania State Police to expand their "Record of Sale" system, essentially creating a backdoor gun registry. Gun owners are not fooled by claims that this system is not a registry; we understand the potential for overreach and misuse of data collection at the point of sale.
I implore you to vote against HB 335 and HB 2206 in order to safeguard the entirety of our Second Amendment rights. Protecting individual liberties and upholding the rights of responsible gun owners should be a top priority in defending our freedoms.
Oppose both HB 335 and HB 2206 by voting NO.
As your dedicated constituent and an ardent supporter of Gun Owners of America, I implore you to stand against HB 335 and HB 2206. Any legislation that aims to infringe upon our fundamental right to bear arms, own accessories, or establish a registry to monitor our firearm ownership must be strongly opposed.
HB 335 seeks to categorize bump stocks and binary triggers as "offensive weapons," an unwarranted measure that unfairly targets law-abiding gun owners in our community. It is nothing more than a scare tactic that will do nothing to reduce crime. This bill would also unjustly criminalize individuals who legally possess these accessories, creating unnecessary fear and restriction among responsible gun owners.
Additionally, HB 2206 raises serious concerns by paving the way for the expansion of the Pennsylvania State Police's "Record of Sale" system, essentially laying the groundwork for a covert gun registry. It is crucial to recognize that this system could easily be exploited to gather excessive data on lawful gun transactions, undermining our privacy rights and Second Amendment freedoms.
I urge you to vigorously oppose HB 335 and HB 2206 to safeguard our cherished Second Amendment liberties and protect the interests of law-abiding gun owners throughout our state. Your unwavering support in defending our constitutional rights is crucial in preserving our freedoms and maintaining the integrity of our republic.
STOP HB 335 and HB 2206.
As a resident within your district and a dedicated supporter of Gun Owners of America, I implore you to stand against HB 335 and HB 2206. These proposed bills, if passed, would encroach upon law-abiding citizens' ability to own firearms-related accessories and establish an electronic gun registry.
HB 335 seeks to categorize bump stocks and binary triggers as "offensive weapons," essentially criminalizing responsible gun owners who currently possess these items. Similarly, HB 2206 presents a potential threat to our privacy and rights by laying the groundwork for an expanded firearm registry through the Pennsylvania State Police's "Record of Sale" system.
It is crucial to recognize that these bills may not only restrict our constitutional rights but also pave the way for unnecessary government oversight and control over lawful firearm ownership. I urge you to reject HB 335 and HB 2206 to safeguard the integrity of our Article 1, Section 21 rights.
