As one of your constituents, and a supporter of Gun Owners of America, I urge you to OPPOSE SB 0857 and SB 0858. These anti-gun bills are unconstitutional and need to be stopped. If passed, SB 0857 and SB 0858 would ban open carry and concealed carry at the State Capitol, the House Office Building, and the Senate Office Building as well as any place in the state that sells alcohol, all banks, and all movie theaters in Michigan. This is unacceptable and will not save any lives. On the contrary, it will create more "soft target" areas where people will be unable to defend themselves.
