NO to the Semi-Automatic Handgun Ban
As a New Yorker and proud member of the Gun Owners of America, I ask that you OPPOSE S 9225. It is completely unwarranted for us to be targeted over our ownership of one of the most commonly used handguns in the US.
In the face of rising crime, it’s necessary for more GOOD people to have access to firearms over criminals who will continue to terrorize a disarmed populace. Bills like S 9225 limit choices for tens of thousands of New Yorkers while further expanding the influence of criminals, who are ALREADY disregarding Federal firearms laws.
I ask that you strongly consider the negative implications this bill will have on self-defense and vote NO on S 9225, which is unconstitutional to its core.
