Why are you betraying gun owners--AGAIN?
As your constituent and a proud supporter of Gun Owners of America, I demand that you withdraw your bill to ban Glock switches.
Glock switches are already illegal under federal law and we both know that criminals will not obey ANY gun control law. Your bill is nothing more than virtue-signaling and an attempt to appease anti-gun Democrats.
You should be working to eliminate state-level prohibitions on automatic weapons, not introducing more gun control.
I also remember your anti-gun vote for HB 2060 back in 2018.
I know you are retiring and I am offended that you think your departure gives you the license to violate my God-given rights. Once accountability is gone, you are really showing your true colors.
Again, I expect you to withdraw your bill to ban Glock switches. Gun Owners of America will keep me informed of your actions.
Pull your bill to ban Glock switches!
As a constituent who values our Second Amendment rights and supports organizations like Gun Owners of America, I urge you to reconsider your decision to introduce a bill banning Glock switches.
It is essential to acknowledge that Glock switches are already prohibited under federal law, and further restrictions are unlikely to deter criminals who disregard the law. Your proposal appears to be more about symbolic gestures than addressing the real issues surrounding gun violence.
Rather than focusing on restrictive measures, it would be more productive to work towards removing state-level bans on automatic weapons.
I recall your previous vote on HB 2060 in 2018, and I am disappointed that you seem to be disregarding our constitutional rights in your final days in office. Retirement should not equate to abandoning the principles you were elected to uphold.
I trust that you will listen to the concerns of constituents like myself and withdraw the bill targeting Glock switches. Gun Owners of America will continue to monitor your actions, and I hope to see you prioritize our rights as you conclude your term in office.
I am OPPOSED to your bill banning Glock Switches
As a member of your constituency and a supporter of Gun Owners of America, I must express my strong opposition to the proposed bill to ban Glock switches.
It is important to recognize that Glock switches are already prohibited by federal law, and imposing additional restrictions will not deter criminals who do not abide by any gun control regulations. This bill appears to be more of a symbolic gesture rather than an effective solution to preventing gun violence.
I urge you to focus your efforts on eliminating the existing state-level bans on automatic weapons rather than introducing further restrictions on law-abiding citizens. Your past support for gun control legislation, such as voting for HB 2060 in 2018, is concerning to me and others in our community who value our Second Amendment rights.
As you prepare to retire from your position, it is disappointing to see that you are pursuing legislation that infringes on our constitutional rights. It is crucial that elected officials uphold the values and principles that protect our freedoms, even as they transition out of office.
I call upon you to reconsider your stance on the bill to ban Glock switches and prioritize initiatives that will have a meaningful impact on reducing crime while respecting the rights of responsible gun owners. Gun Owners of America will continue to monitor your actions, and I expect you to represent our interests accordingly.
Why do you continue to betray gun owners?
As a constituent and a dedicated supporter of Gun Owners of America, I am urging you to reconsider your proposal to ban Glock switches. It is crucial to recognize that these modifications are already prohibited by federal laws in place, and further restrictions would only burden law-abiding citizens without reducing crime.
Criminals, by their very nature, do not abide by the law, and enacting more regulations will not prevent their misuse of firearms. Rather than focusing on symbolic gestures, I encourage you to direct your efforts toward revisiting state-level restrictions on automatic weapons, which impede the rights of responsible gun owners without enhancing public safety.
Moreover, I have not forgotten your previous stance on gun legislation, such as your vote on HB 2060 in 2018. It is disheartening to witness a departure from principles that respect our Second Amendment rights and prioritize individual freedoms.
As you near retirement, I implore you to uphold the values that have defined your tenure and honor the liberties granted to us by our Constitution. I hope you will reconsider your current proposal and align your actions with the principles that uphold our God-given rights.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I trust that you will act in the best interests of your constituents and the values that define our great nation by withdrawing your bill to ban Glock switches immediately.
