The high cost of period products results in millions of women each month experiencing mental and physical distress. American women deserve dignity and access to necessary hygiene products. A recent survey by Kotex determined that 35% more women struggled to afford menstrual products in 2021 compared to 2018. H.R. 3646 aims to address this by eliminating the retail tax on these products and expanding access to menstrual products through federal programs.
