If that wasn't bad enough, Shapiro's budget calls for an additional $1.5 million to increase staffing at the Pennsylvania State Police to audit and harass lawful firearms retailers. The budget would also allocate more staff to the Pennsylvania Criminal Intelligence Center (PaCIC) to expand social media monitoring to "intervene before online grievances escalate to violence." I don't want the Pennsylvania State Police spying on my social media in some Orwellian scheme to monitor my behavior. And it couldn't be clearer that Shapiro wants to put as many firearms retailers out of business as he can, just like the Biden Administration. In summary, I urge you to gut Shapiro's gun control budget and eliminate these egregious assaults on my Article 1, Section 21 rights and my right to privacy.
