Restore Sound Money With S721
I urge you to support S721, which will bring our state closer to restoring sound money and adhering to the U.S. Constitution's monetary provisions.
The rampant inflation we've been seeing goes back to the unconstitutional Federal Reserve and our abandonment of constitutional money. The U.S. dollar has lost over 97 percent of its purchasing power since 1913, and the Fed's policies are ensuring that it will continue to become increasingly worthless.
S721 will allow gold and silver to be treated as money -- as they ought. It also will help reduce the overpowerful Federal Reserve's grip on our economy.
Please support S721, and fully restore sound money in New Jersey.
Restore Monetary Sanity With S721
Please take action to restore sanity in our monetary policy by enacting S721.
This bill would eliminate sales taxes on precious metals.
Gold and silver are money, not commodities. It's time that we treat them as such. It makes no sense to levy taxes on money.
Because of the Federal Reserve and its unconstitutional monopoly on money, the U.S. dollar has lost 97% of its value since 1913.
S721 would reduce our dependence on the Federal Reserve, comply with Article I, Section 10, of the U.S. Constitution, and restore a sound monetary policy. Please enact this bill.
Support S721 -- Treat Gold and Silver as Money
I implore you to support S721, which would be a good first step toward enforcing the U.S. Constitution when it comes to monetary policy.
Article I, Section 10 of the U.S. Constitution requires states to make only gold and silver "a Tender in Payment of Debts." Unfortunately, we've long abandoned this important provision. The result is the devaluation of the dollar, which is hurting New Jersey residents -- along with our children's and grandchildren's futures.
S721 is an important step toward restoring adherence to both the U.S. Constitution and sound money. Please support this bill.
Enact S721 -- Restore Constitutional Money
Please enact S721. This bill will help restore constitutional money in New Jersey.
The U.S. Constitution recognizes only gold and silver as legal tender. Specifically, I refer to Article I, Section 8, Clause 5 and Article I, Section 10, Clause 1. Fiat money is not recognized.
This is for good reason. When we abandoned adherence to the Constitution, inflation skyrocketed. The dollar has lost 97% of its value since 1913, and this is devastating to the younger generations.
S721 would help rectify this by helping New Jersey return to constitutional adherence and treating gold and silver as currency. Please support this bill.
Vote YES on S721 -- Support Sound Money
I urge you to support and vote in favor of S721. This bill is important for treating gold and silver as money, and reducing New Jersey's dependence on the federal government.
Currently the Federal Reserve -- a blatantly unconstitutional entity -- has a monopoly over money and monetary policy in the United States. The rampant inflation we're seeing, along with the fact that the dollar has lost 97% of its value since 1913, illustrates the effect it's had on our economy and society.
S721 is needed to help nullify the Federal Reserve and its detrimental effects.
Also, S721 is a great first step toward enforcing the Constitution’s monetary provisions. Article I, Section 10, of the U.S. Constitution plainly states that “No State shall…make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.”
It’s long overdue that states begin to enforce this provision once again.
Please support and vote in favor of S721.
