H 1452 and H 2361, the latest gun control efforts coming through the legislature are being pushed under the guise of public safety and preventing mass shootings. In reality, this bill will completely end the manufacture of semi-automatic firearms in Massachusetts. The intent is clear – Democrats are aiming to completely rid the state of gun owners and expect us to be cut off, helpless, and entirely reliant on the state for our safety. In an age of ever-rising crime we need more pro Second Amendment sentiment, not less. California, New York, and Maryland all serve as examples of anti-gun states that continue to suffer from weak-on-crime policies. I am asking that you please step up and defend our right to self-defense by OPPOSING H 1452 and H 2361.
