Take the pledge: Abolish the ATF
As your constituent, I am asking you to go on record to make a pledge that you will vote to ABOLISH the ATF and END its illegal registry now that there’s a serious plan to make it happen.
President Trump’s nominee for Vice President – JD Vance – has publicly called for abolishing the ATF and permanently deleting its illegal gun registry.
Additionally, a bill has already been introduced in the House – H.R. 1271 – that would require the ATF to destroy all the purchase records they have in their databases under penalty of law.
That’s why I’m urging you to pledge to abolish the ATF and co-sponsor H.R. 1271 to end its illegal registry and protect my name and private information from the federal government’s anti-gun bureaucrats.
If and when the new Administration takes office in January 2025, Gun Owners of America wants to already have a list of all the members in the House and Senate who have pledged to sign onto a future Vice President Vance’s plan to abolish the ATF and delete its gun registry.
Gun Owners of America will keep its members like me informed of which Representatives and Senators have taken the pledge to abolish the ATF and have co-sponsored H.R. 1271. I hope to see your name.

Protect my civil liberties
As your constituent, I am deeply concerned that my name and private information are currently being stored in a database illegally established by the ATF simply for exercising my civil liberties.
If you truly are committed to protecting the right to privacy of your constituents, then I urge you to take action to abolish the ATF – which has notoriously preyed upon innocent citizens – and ensure that its illegal gun registry with over 1 billion records is destroyed.
In fact, a bill has already been introduced in the House – H.R. 1271 – that would require the ATF to destroy all the purchase records they have in their databases under penalty of law.
The right to keep and bear arms cannot be a right that is only afforded to the privileged. It’s a civil liberty that must be granted to all Americans, regardless of race, creed, gender, or socio-economic background.
That’s why I urge you to protect my rights and private information by abolishing the ATF and ending its unconstitutional federal registry.
