Thank You for Standing Up For My Rights
As your constituent and a proud supporter of Gun Owners of America, I want to thank you for supporting Rep. Bernstine's motion to appeal the ruling of the chair (A731) that would have allowed Constitutional Carry to come up for a vote on the House floor.
I'm pleased by the unanimous Republican vote to bring pro-gun legislation to the floor, a significant shift from earlier instances where some Republicans voted for gun control.
I expect the Republican caucus to remain unified in supporting GOA-endorsed pro-gun legislation and opposing all anti-gun bills brought to a vote.
Thank you again, and GOA will be sure to keep me informed.
Thanks for Backing Rep. Bernstine's Motion
As your constituent and a strong advocate for gun rights, I commend your support for Rep. Bernstine's motion to appeal the ruling of the chair (A731) that would have allowed consideration of Constitutional Carry.
It is heartening to see a unified Republican vote in favor of important Second Amendment issues, an encouraging change from past situations where some Republicans sided with gun control measures.
I urge continued solidarity within the Republican caucus to uphold Gun Owners of America-endorsed pro-gun legislation and to stand against any anti-gun proposals that may arise.
Thank you once more for your dedication to protecting our Constitutional rights, and I look forward to staying updated through GOA's valuable updates and information.
Thanks for Supporting Constitutional Carry
As your constituent and a dedicated supporter of Gun Owners of America, I appreciate your decision to back Rep. Bernstine's motion to appeal the ruling of the chair (A731) that would have brought Constitutional Carry up for a vote.
I am encouraged by the continuous alignment of the Republican party in favor of pro-Second Amendment legislation, showcasing a marked contrast from previous instances where some Republicans strayed to support gun control measures.
Looking ahead, I trust that the Republican caucus will stand in solidarity in advocating for GOA-backed pro-gun policies and resisting any anti-gun measures put up for vote.
Once more, thank you for your continued support, and I eagerly anticipate GOA's messages that keep me informed.
Why Did You Betray My Rights?
As your constituent and a proud supporter of Gun Owners of America, I am appalled that you voted against my constitutional rights.
GOA tells me that you failed to support Rep. Bernstine's motion (A731) that would have allowed Constitutional Carry to come up for a vote on the House floor. I consider this a betrayal of my God-given rights.
I expect my elected officials to honor their oath of office by upholding our Article 1, Section 21 and Second Amendment rights. Instead, you voted to restrict my liberty by keeping unconstitutional licensing fees in place. No one should have to ask the government's permission before exercising a constitutional right.
To be clear, I expected you to allow Constitutional Carry to come up for a vote on the House floor, but your actions prevented that entirely.
I will remember your vote the next time I am at the ballot box.
You Betrayed my God-given Rights
I am writing as your constituent and a proud supporter of Gun Owners of America to express my dismay at your vote against my constitutional rights.
According to GOA, you voted against Rep. Bernstine's motion (A731), preventing a vote on Constitutional Carry on the House floor. I consider this action a betrayal of my fundamental, God-given rights. Public officials should honor their oath to uphold both Article 1, Section 21 and the Second Amendment of our Constitution. By blocking this vote, you restricted my liberty and supported the continuation of unconstitutional licensing fees.
Exercising a constitutional right should never require government approval. My expectation was that you would allow a vote on Constitutional Carry, but your vote entirely prevented it.
I will certainly recall your stance when casting my ballot in the future.
