The sanctity of life and the care for the weak or defenseless are both key components of the Catholic faith. We believe that human life is intrinsically valuable and should be protected by law from fertilization to natural death. I support pro-life bills that will: - prohibit all state and local government funding for abortion providers or their affiliates, - increase funding to abortion alternatives for expectant parents, - end wrongful birth lawsuits, and - establish a trigger ban to prohibit abortion as soon as Roe v.
