As a small business owner, I need your help. The proposed restrictions in H.B. 749 will greatly impact the ability of adults to enjoy legal tobacco products. An 18 to 20 year old is of legal age to defend our country, choose our nation’s leaders, and serve on juries to administer justice. If this legislation is enacted, they will have the ability to influence the future of our country, but not the freedom to make the personal choice to purchase a legal product at my local premium tobacco shop. The proposed legislation is misguided and unnecessary government overreach. Please protect our freedoms and oppose H.B. 749!

Please help protect my retail tobacco business from government overreach. The proposed restrictions in H.B. 749 will impact the ability of adults to purchase a legal product, incentivizing them to cross state lines to purchase legal tobacco products. This bill will have no impact on youth access, will hurt retail tobacconists, and will ultimately reduce the job creating capacity of small business owners like myself.
