Pass Second Amendment Sanctuary Ordinance
I stand with Judge-Executive Kevin Neal and ask that you pass the Second Amendment Sanctuary Ordinance introduced on December 17, 2019.
I expect Marshall County and every county across Kentucky to protect my right to keep and bear arms against all infringements, whether in Washington, DC or Frankfurt.
Please resist any pressure to water down the ordinance that Judge Neal proposed and pass it as originally presented without any gutting amendments. That means keeping the penalties for county officials who violate the ordinance.
It also means not enforcing or spending county funds to enforce ANY of the "unlawful acts" named in the ordinance.
As a law-abiding gun owner, I am sick and tired of elected officials who trample upon our constitutional rights with impunity. This ordinance has the teeth necessary to prevent that from happening in the future.
Again, please pass the Marshall County Second Amendment Sanctuary Ordinance on January 7, 2020 and stand up for my rights without compromise.
