Gun-Grabbers in Albany Are the Ones Who Need a Mental Health Checkup, Not Gun Owners!
As your constituent, I am writing to insist that you strongly oppose S-1605, legislation that would force law abiding gun owners to undergo a government approved mental health checkup before being able to buy a firearm!
There is nothing more disgusting to me than the idea of allowing corrupt politicians in Albany to try to silence and disarm political rivals under the guise of a phony mental health review!
In fact, given the number of indictments, arrests, and convictions of former members of the NY State legislature, it’s clear that if any group of people in this great state should undergo a mental health checkup, it’s state lawmakers!
This is insulting to gun owners, and the mere idea that it has been introduced in the legislature is despicable.
That’s why I am writing you today, to insist that you publicly condemn and vote against this legislation at all points in the legislative process.
The NYS Firearms Association will keep me updated on who supports, or opposes, this legislation.
What Kind of a Person Even Dreams Up This Legislation?
S-1605 is a page right out of the communist ruler’s handbook from the last century!
Requiring gun owners to submit to a government sanctioned mental health background check before they can exercise their right to keep and bear arms is the very definition of tyranny!
What kind of mentally deficient person even dreams up this sort of legislation in the first place?
As your constituent, I am writing to demand that you oppose this or any similar legislation that allows petty thugs in Albany to harass law abiding gun owners under the guise of mental health checks!
Everyone who is backing this legislation in Albany is a disgrace to our great state.
The NYS Firearms Association will keep me up to date on the status of this bill and the lawmakers that are supporting it.
Oppose S-1605!
As a voter in your district, I am writing to let you know that I expect you to oppose S-1605, legislation that requires me to submit to a government mandated mental health check up before being able to buy a firearm!
Everyone in Albany knows that this bill wouldn’t stop a single mass killer. But that’s not what it was designed to do.
This bill is designed to muzzle the 1st Amendment rights of gun owners in NY state as petty politicians are hoping to use this legislation to force gun owners to stop speaking out, lest they get labeled ‘defective.’
What’s next? Prison farms for political opponents?
If anyone needs a mental health checkup, it’s the nuts in Albany who are backing this legislation!
VOTE NO!
The NYS Firearms Association will make sure I know who supports (and who opposes) this legislation!
This Bill Would Fit Perfectly in the Former Soviet Union!
Totalitarian regimes all over the world have always used mental health as a way to incarcerate and harass political opponents.
From Nikita Khrushchev’s Russia to the Chairman Mao’s China, anyone who opposes Communist leaders has long been seen as an enemy of the state and deemed mentally defective in order to deny them the right to vote, travel, and more.
The gun control bill S-1605, is the same thing, an attempt to muzzle and disarm law-abiding gun owners in NY State, by requiring a government approved mental health background check before law abiding New Yorker's could buy a firearm!
If a gun owner fails this ridiculous test, he would lose a constitutionally guaranteed right!
The very idea that we are talking about this is outrageous!
As your constituent, I am writing to tell you as strongly as I can that I expect you to oppose this legislation at all points in the legislative process!
This will do nothing to stop criminals, but it was never intended to stop criminals. Its only goal is to intimidate and silence political opposition from gun owners in New York State!
While this legislation may make dead communist leaders like Mao and Khruschchev happy, gun owners in New York State deserve better.
Oppose this bill!
The NYS Firearms Association will keep me apprised of the status of this legislation.
