As a pro-lifer, I was shocked to learn that while you have closed dozens of different classifications of businesses -- thousands of business across our state -- Planned Parenthood remains open for business! While only one Iowan has died from this virus, scores of unborn babies have been put to death during this time, with no end in sight! This is wrong! Abortion should never be allowed here in Iowa, but it should absolutely not be allowed right now when only businesses that provide ‘essential services’ are supposed to be open. Governors’ in states like Ohio, Texas and Mississippi have already closed abortion clinics in those states -- it’s time that you do too. Our unborn babies were counting on you to appeal the Heartbeat Bill’s to the Supreme Court like you said you would. You failed them on that front. Don’t fail them again now. Close the abortion clinics!
