End the Covid Emergency

As you meet on September 17th to discuss a newer, weaker House Petition to end the public health emergency, be prepared to utilize the Seabaugh Petition as well. The Governor is power hungry and has mail in ballots in his sights. If given the option, he will not stop.
It is time to end the COVID public health emergency. For good.
End the emergency
It’s quite simple: a healthy economy is driven by a thriving business environment which provides job opportunities and the necessary tax base for local public resources.
There is no way for businesses or local municipalities to thrive with the added, unnecessary burden of COVID restrictions still in place. The hospitals were never overwhelmed, deaths are on a continued decline, and weeks into the school year there are no alarming outbreaks in schools.
It is time to end the COVID public health emergency. As you consider a version of the petition that allows JBE the opportunity to declare another COVID emergency, it is an absolute must that you be ready to use the Seabaugh Petition. End it.
It's time to recover from COVID
Action by the Louisiana Legislature in regards to the Governor’s overreach is MONTHS overdue. It is time to sign the petition to end the public health emergency. As pressure mounts to NOT sign, know that the express wish of this constituent is for you to end the COVID public health emergency.
The leadership in the House is determined to push through a weak House Petition with loopholes the size of Edwards' ego. Plan on having the Seabaugh Petition at the ready. You are going to need a nuclear option.
End the COVID public health emergency, trust the people you serve to take responsibility for their own health, and get Louisiana on the road to economic recovery.
