End of Life Choices bill lacking safeguards
I am opposed to the End of Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Bill 2020, which would legalise both euthanasia and assisted suicide in Tasmania.
As a state, we can do better than an unsafe euthanasia and assisted suicide regime.
Please vote ‘no’ to the End of Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Bill 2020.
Please vote against the End of Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dyin) Bill
Please vote against the End of Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Bill 2020 which seeks to legalise both euthanasia and assisted suicide in Tasmania.
Please listen to our medical professionals and vote ‘no.’
Thank you.
End of Life Choices Bill mandates review into extending to children
I would like to state my opposition to the End of Life Choices (Voluntary Assisted Dying) Bill 2020 currently being considered by the Legislative Council. The provisions of the bill go far beyond even what has been legislated in Victoria and Western Australia. Of great concern to me is that the bill requires, after two years of operation, that a review be conducted to examine whether children should be included in the regime. This is extreme legislation that seeks to provide death-on-demand, not just to adult Tasmanians, but children as well.
I urge you to vote against this radical legislation.
