Dear Governor Lujan Grisham and New Mexico Legislators: It is time to stand up for the rights of girls and women by protecting their rights to privacy and athletics.
Girls and women are also being put at a disadvantage as biologically male transgender people are being allowed to compete in girls' and women's sports. In general, males are physiologically stronger and more powerful than females, regardless of their gender identification.
Women had to fight for decades to achieve equal access to sports. Now that is all being thrown away when women are forced to compete against athletes who are biologically male. It is unfair and discriminatory for women and girls to EVER have to compete against males.
