Help Protect New York's Hearth Industry!

Northeast HPBA would like to challenge the lack of meaningful analysis by the Climate Action Council (CAC) in New York, which is charged with implementing the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA).

The NY Assembly Minority, led by Minority Leader Barclay and ranking Energy member Phil Palmesano is in agreement with NEHPBA and are both calling for a cost-benefit study that has been consistently resisted by the CAC.

We are asking that you email your Senator and Assembly Member to protest proceeding with an expensive solution to climate change without a rigorous cost-benefit analysis conducted by expert scientists, engineers, and economists. We are asking that they promise to pursue a cost-benefit study and take meaningful steps toward that end.
