The harassment of President Trump never ends! Far-Left District Attorney Fani Willis of Fulton County (GA) became the latest Democrat to pile on when she indicted Trump and 18 of his associates on a whole host of bogus charges.
This indictment reveals the truly absurd level Democrats will stoop to in order to take down Trump. Willis’s indictment includes TWO counts against Trump for tweeting about Georgia election-related hearings he was watching on TV. It also includes one count against Trump’s chief of staff for texting a Pennsylvania congressman to ask for the phone numbers of the leaders of the Pennsylvania legislature, as well as one count against the former GOP state chairman for reserving a room at the Georgia State Capitol.
It’s clear that leftists are now willing to criminalize ordinary actions by Trump and his supporters in order to throw them in jail. This is a dangerous precedent and it needs to be stopped before our country devolves into a corrupt totalitarian leftist state where the ruling party simply jails its opponents instead of trying to win fair elections.
Donald Trump and his lawyers had every right to contest the results of the 2020 election, especially since that election was clouded by a flurry of irregularities, reports of vote fraud, and last-minute rule changes in many states. Trump’s effort to investigate the conduct of the election to determine if he had won Georgia was not a “conspiracy,” as the radical Left-wing Atlanta DA claims. It was an attempt to uphold one of the pillars of our republic – free and fair elections.
